Pimples on Buttock
Pimples are very common problem all over the world. It can appear anywhere on the body. The most common places are face, neck, upper arms, chest and back. But some people get pimple on their buttock.
First of all we should know the reason of it. Pimple and acne is same thing and has almost same causes.
- Hormonal changes in teen age can cause pimples.
- Many diseases can cause hormonal changes which results in acne.
- Certain food may cause sudden breakout of pimples.
- Certain drugs reaction may cause the acne. If you develop pimples after starting a drug then switch to an alternative drug.
- Over washing, using harsh soaps, and touching pimples can make them worse.
- Polluted air, dust and sweating may aggravate acne.
- Stress may cause acne too.
- Wearing tight clothes may cause the pimples on buttocks.
Besides above reasons, pimples on buttocks can be caused by ingrown hairs to infected hair follicles.
First of all those treatments that work on face , don't necessarily work on other parts of body too. There are many medicines available to treat this type of acne. Before consulting a dermatologist you should follow these precautions:
Buttock's pimple can be treated very effectively if one makes sure to keep the area clean and dry, while you need to remember to moisturize it twice a day. Do not over wash the area as it may aggravate acne. Ideally the treatment would include an antibacterial wash, hopefully containing an anti inflammatory agent such as salicylic acid, and a good non pore clogging acidic moisturizer with anti bacterial properties to keep the skin moist yet free from blockages.
Besides these precautions, you should take 8 glasses of water daily, it will keep your skin hydrated and supple. Also make sure you clean your sheets regularly as the human body does tend to sweat a reasonable amount at night and this can contribute to the build up of oils and dirt which may lead to blockage of your pores.
If you go to gym, don't forget to take shower after workouts.
Avoid touching pimples as it may aggravate it. Clothes that come from natural fibers often help in this kind of acne breakout. Artificial fibers such as nylon should be avoided.
