How to Get Rid of Large Pores on the Nose
When pores are enlarged around the nose, they can become clogged and blocked with impurities such as dirt, bacteria and excess sebum. This blockage can cause blackheads and lead to acne. To shrink the pores of the nose, and to avoid acne breakouts and blackheads from forming, a regimen must be applied to flush out the pores, keep them free of debris and open. Tighten the pores with an acidic toner.
Flush out impurities that cause the pores to become larger by applying a castor oil facial. Pour 1 tsp. of castor oil into your hands, and spread the oil onto your nose. Use your fingertips to massage the oil deeply into the skin, which will enable it to go into the pores. The oil will bond to the impurities in your skin.
Wait a few minutes, then lay a hot washcloth on your skin to open the pores of the nose, allowing trapped oils and bacteria to release. Leave the washcloth on your skin until it cools, then use it to wipe off the oil and impurities.
Apply an exfoliating scrub to buff away pore-enlarging bacteria and skin cells. Pour 1 tbsp. of baking soda into one of your hands, then drizzle 1 tsp. of water onto it. Mix the two substances well, and spread the mixture onto your nose. Use your fingers to gently rub the baking soda around in circular motions.
Rinse off your nose with warm water after a couple of minutes. Baking soda can be used to buff away pore-blocking dead skin and impurities once per day.
Tighten the pores with an acidic toner, such as concentrated lemon juice. Fill an empty spray bottle with concentrated lemon juice, and spray your face liberally after it has been exfoliated. Focus on your nose, where the pores are the largest.
Allow the lemon juice to remain on your skin until it dries, and repeat up to three times throughout the day. Because skin is naturally acidic, using a concentrated acidic juice to tone it will help balance the skin out and tighten the pores.
