Moisturizer for an Extremely Dry Face
An extremely dry face is a result of environmental factors such as weather or improper nutrition. This is not a permanent condition and can be easily treated using a heavy moisturizer or face cream. If left untreated for a long time, extremely dry skin on the face could cause skin cells to shrivel resulting in the formation of wrinkles and fine lines. In some cases, it could even cause bacterial infections.

The skin will appear stretched and irritated. In some cases, you may also notice redness around the cheeks. The main characteristic is the appearance of white flakes on the skin, which occur when the skin is so dry that it starts peeling off.

Avoid using harsh products that can irritate the skin and always use products meant for your skin type. Nutrition is important do keep your skin moisturized, you should drink at least two liters of water every day, allowing your skin to remain hydrated. Limit carbonated drinks and caffeine, which can lead to dehydration.
