The Panasonic ES4026NC, or Sonic-2 Men's Pro-Curve Wet/Dry Shaver, was awarding the Good Housekeeping Seal, according to Panasonic. Good Housekeeping says it awards the seal only after the scientists and engineers at its research institute have reviewed a product.

Basic Features

The ES4026NC is usable with water and shaving cream like a traditional razor or on dry skin. The blades float independently from each other, which Panasonic says provides a closer shave. The shaver also comes with a pop-up trimmer for mustaches or sideburns.

The Sonic-2 requires eight hours in order to fully charge and uses an AC 100-120 volt power source. The foil of the shaver is stainless steel and both the foil and blades can be replaced. Each ES4026NC comes with a travel pouch and AC recharger. The shaver is 9.10 inches high, 6.7 inches wide and 4.7 inches deep. It weighs .33 pounds.

As of the summer of 2010, the Panasonic ES4026NC could be purchased for $49.99 from the Panasonic website. The shaver can be found at many online retailers but is not available in many retail stores.
