How to Remove Scars From the Face Naturally
Use a combination of homemade facial oil and essential oil compresses to remove scars from your delicate facial skin naturally and gently. According to "Aromatherapy Guide to Essential Oils," galbanum essential oil was used by the ancient Egyptians for skin care, and it is still one of the most effective natural scar-healing essential oils. Lavender is a versatile oil that calms and heals skin blemishes. "Organic Body Care Recipes" recommends calophyllum oil, which comes from Tahiti and has a sweet flavor like butter cream, to help fade scars and soothe inflamed troubled skin. Always consult your doctor before you try any treatment.
Essential Oil Compress
Combine 1 cup water and 2 drops each galbunam and lavender essential oil in a bowl.
Mix the water and essential oils together with a wire whisk.
Wash your face. Dip the cloth in the water and essential oil mixture. Apply the wet cloth to scarred skin; hold in place for up to one minute. Repeat every 15 minutes until you have applied the compress three times.
Pour calophyllum oil into a small bottle with a screw-on lid. Add 20 drops each lavender and galbanum oil.
Screw the lid on tightly. Shake it for at least one minute to make sure the oils are mixed.
Apply a little of the facial oil to your scars with a cotton swab, after washing your face. Wait until your skin has absorbed all the oil before applying moisturizers or makeup.
