Easy Way to Get Rid of Pimples
According to MayoClinic.com, pimples are most common during hormonal changes, which is why pimples and acne blemishes are most common among teenagers during puberty. Luckily, there are some natural treatments that can help to get rid of pimples, according to Julia Lawless, author of "The Encyclopedia of Essential Oils: The Complete Guide to the Use of Aromatic Oils in Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Health and Well-Being," and Susan Worwood, author of "Essential Aromatherapy: A Pocket Guide to Essential Oils and Aromatherapy."
Combine ½ tsp. Spanish sage essential oil, 1/2 tsp. lemongrass essential oil, ½ tsp. Mandarin essential oil, 1/2 tsp. bergamot essential oil, ½ tsp. German chamomile essential oil, ½ tsp. rosemary essential oil, ¼ tsp. lemon essential oil, 1/4 tsp. vetiver essential oil and 1 cup jojoba oil in a small dark colored bottle or container with a tight-fitting lid.
Pour a small amount of the mixture onto clean fingertips.
Gently massage the mixture onto the area of skin with pimples. Allow the oil stay on for 10 to 15 minutes without wiping it off.
Rinse your skin with cool, clean water after the allotted time has passed. Wash with a gentle facial cleanser and pat your skin dry. Apply a light oil-free moisturizer.
Use this treatment once per day, in the evening. Stop using the treatment if it causes any redness, swelling or other type of irritation.
Store unused portions of this mixture in a cool, dark and dry place for no more than 90 days from preparation. Throw it away after 90 days.
