Homemade Methods to Get Rid of Acne
Acne affects not only teens, but adults as well. It is a condition that leaves unsightly red spots on your skin and can also lead to permanent scarring. Creating a habit that gently cleans and removes excess oil and opens blocked pours is vital for healthy skin. Over the counter products normally contain harsh chemicals that can leave skin over-dried and peeling. Oral prescription medication will work from the inside out, but it can leave your skin sensitive to sun and wind.
Open the Pores
Place boiling water in a glass or metal bowl. Add tea tree oil.
Place towel over your head and bowl, creating a tent. Keep face at least 3-4 inches from steam. Remain for 10 minutes.
Dry face and allow to cool for five minutes.
Cleanse and Treat
Wash face and throat using soap. Scrub gently using washcloth.
Rinse gently using lukewarm water for at least one minute.
Dry thoroughly. Apply lavender oil directly to the skin.
