How to Get Rid of Blackheads Without Buying Stuff
Blackheads occur when oil and dead skin cells clog the pores and leave a blackened blemish on the skin. Blackhead extraction can be done with the use of pore strips and stainless steel extractors. However, if you are at home and do not wish to purchase any type of special equipment for removal, you can gently remove the blemishes with your fingers. This should be only done when the head of the blackhead has popped out of the surface of the skin. If you are unable to remove the blackhead at home, speak to a dermatologist about other treatment options.
Steam the skin for 5 minutes. Open up your pores by positioning your face over a bowl of boiling water. Keep the steam around your face by placing a towel behind your head. Plan to remove the blackhead immediately after opening up the pores.
Wash your hands. Clean your hands with antibacterial soap before you touch the skin to prevent transferring oil and dirt to the skin.
Cover your fingers with a clean tissue. Put one finger on each side of the blackhead.
Squeeze gently. Move your fingers together to push the blackhead out of the pore and into the tissue. Wipe away any debris with the tissue.
Cleanse the face. Remove any residue leftover from the blackhead and prevent the pores from clogging by washing the face after extracting the blackhead. You should continue to wash the face twice a day to control blemishes.
