Acne Causes

Factors that contribute to the development of acne include the irregular shedding of dead cells on your skin and overproduction of sebum. According to the Mayo Clinic, acne forms when hair follicles in your skin become clogged with bacteria and other viruses, leading to inflammation. Ensure that you use hot water as it opens up your pores and kills bacteria. Also, try to avoid touching your face and shower after any exercising or tedious work as your swear can trap bacteria, according to the Mayo Clinic. Lastly, don't pick or squeeze acne, as you may aggravate the lesions, possibly causing scarring.
