Zinc

B1 (Thiamine)

It helps in many of the bod's functions such as maintaining the muscles and nervous system. Thiamine has antioxidant properties and enhances circulation, according to Dr. George Obikoya. It helps prepare the body to digest food you have consumed and helps the body fight off bacteria. You should take about 100 mg of Thiamine twice everyday to help prevent acne.

Vitamin C

This water-soluble vitamin is responsible for a protein called collagen which helps in producing skin, ligaments, blood vessels and scar tissue. Since it is water-soluble, it leaves the body through your urine. It is an antioxidant as well and helps in enhancing the immunity of your skin with its antibacterial effect. The recommended dose of vitamin C to help fight off acne is 1000 mg three times daily.
