Though there are many acne skin care products in the market, adult acne is still not completely curable for a large number of people. The main problem in treating acne is that people tend to try and cure acne in isolation without understanding that acne is a ramification of another medical condition.

The bottom line for acne cure lies in identifying the medical condition that has given rise to acne in the first place. When you try to treat acne in isolation you are treating it only superficially. Obviously, within no time it is bound to come back and again you would have to begin your treatment from scratch. There are a few basics to keep acne away from you.

The first is to have a nutritional well-balanced diet. The food you eat is responsible for how healthy your body constitution stays. Including a lot of junk food and calorie rich food would obviously cause the body to be unhealthy, and the results would show in the form of acne. There are some vitamins for acne treatment that should be included in your diet so that your skin stays acne-free. These vitamins are vitamin B, vitamin C and vitamin E. You can get these vitamins by consuming foods like citrus fruits, parsley, strawberry, red bell pepper, papaya, cauliflower, tomatoes, spinach, watermelon, guava, carrots, apricots, legumes, leafy vegetables, cereals, nuts etc.

Pollution is also known to be a very prominent reason for adult acne in both men and women. The heavy polluted air and the exposure to various chemicals can cause acne. Try to keep your exposure to such surrounding to the minimum. Secondly, be very hygienic in all your personal care products. Use a separate towel and soap, and keep putting the bed sheet and towels you use for wash as frequently as possible. These are places where unwanted bacteria can be found that may cause acne.

Remember that no matter how strong the temptation, do not pick the acne. You are doing yourself enough harm by doing so. By breaking it at a middle stage, the acne would just stay dormant for a while and come back; had you let it dry naturally you would only have to bear with it once. And look at the horrible acne scar you are left with; is it worth it? Certainly not, so please let the acne disappear by itself without your valuable contribution and chances are that you would be able to get your normal acne-free skin faster.
