Skin is most sensitive part of our body. If we overly expose it to sun light or any harmful chemical then it will have to face many skin diseases and acne is one of the most common skin disorder there is.
According to research approximately 80% people have to face it once in their life. People with sensitive skin have to be careful because any wrong exposure may cause the acne to aggravate.

People with sensitive skin should choose their career very carefully as working in chemical base organization may cause them more acne and other skin disease. Acne due to professional environment is commonly known as Occupational Acne. It is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands that produce oil to lubricate the skin. This inflammation occurs when certain chemicals block the pores of the skin causing accumulation of the oil and formation of a skin protein called keratin. The accumulation of the oily substance and the formation of keratin produce black plugs that mark occupational acne.

There are three basic reasons for occupational acne.
Oil acne:
Grease and petroleum-based cutting oils cause oil acne. The areas which are in directly contact with oils are affected the most. Other areas such as the abdomen and thighs may be affected especially if they are covered with oil-soaked clothes. If you have these type of acne then consult a good dermatologist otherwise the condition may persist for months after the exposure to oil stops. In a long term if you don't get any consultation with your dermatologist then it may develop into skin cancer. The features associated with oil acne include darkening of the skin and an abnormal reaction of the skin to sunlight.

Coal-tar acne:
The oily substance and keratin form the black plugs that mark coal-tar acne. These type of acne are normally clear when a person stops exposure. But it is better to consult with dermatologist or any alternative medical practitioner because if left untreated it may aggravate into something severe and cause certain other disorders. People with coal-tar acne may experience skin darkening, burning sensations and flushing of the skin after exposure to light.

Choloacne:
The third type is Choloacne. It is caused by exposure to various halogenated aromatic compounds. Chloracne can develop from three to four weeks after exposure. Without treatment it lasts for many years after stops exposure. It is a most severe and dangerous kind of occupational acne. The skin lesions occur mainly in the face, but in more severe cases they involve the shoulders and chest, the back, and the abdomen. In the most serious cases, the lesions appear also on the arms, thighs, legs, hands and feet.

The main reason behind these type of acne is inadequate facilities for these workers. We can control it by providing them change rooms, showers and bath facilities and clothes which cover all body. The spots of occupational acne develop only on areas of skin which have come into direct contact with acne-causing chemicals or irritant substances, which are usually found in the workplace, but may also be used in certain other activities, thats why we could easily identify occupational acne from other other types of acne. A person should take consultation from dermatologist to treat these type of acne specially Chloroacne.
