Natural Way to Lighten Dark Pigmentation
When the body overproduces the pigment melanin, areas of your skin may become darker. There are several reasons this occurs, including genetics and sun exposure. Most people call these areas sun spots, age spots or liver spots. Whatever the name, the spots are medically harmless, but they can make you feel self-conscious if they are on your face or other exposed area. When you try a natural remedy to lighten dark patches on your skin, give it at least 30 days to work.
Boil 1/4 cup oatmeal with 4 tbsp. of milk.
Add 1 tbsp. raw, unprocessed honey, and mix well.
Apply the paste to the dark patches on your skin.
Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse well with water.
Orange Peel Mask
Cut the rind off an orange, and leave the peel in the sun to dry out.
Grind the peel, making a powder.
Add enough milk to turn the powder into a paste.
Apply the paste to the dark patches on your skin. When the paste dries, remove it with warm water.
