There are different stages of acne from mild to severe acne. It is very important to treat mild acne properly, because if you do not treat it properly then it will be agravate into moderate acne and then severe acne. But if you treat it properly then there is a chance that you will get rid of acne permanently.

Mild acne consists of small lesions, such as blackheads, whiteheads or pustules, and moderate number of small, mildly irritated pimples. which appear at or near the surface of the skin. Most acne occurs on the face but is also common on the shoulders, back, and upper chest. Mild acne usually does not leave scars. However, squeezing pimples or trying to open them in other ways increases inflammation and the depth of injury to the skin, making scarring more likely. It can be controlled by home remedies as well as prescription drugs.

First of all mild acne sufferer should consult dermatologist, because right treatment is very important. Normally in this condition dermatologists refer topical antimicrobial or topical retionoid. These medicines may make your skin dry if you use them too much. If these medicines don’t work, your doctor may prescribe a cream or lotion with benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, salicylic acid, or sulfur. The problem with these treatments is that they rarely show results and can have side effects.

At home you can control your acne. Wash your face twice a day every day. Don't rub your face or acne effected area because it can worsen your acne. Use mild soaps and non-comedogenic cosmetics for your skin. Before starting any topical treatment, wash your face gently. When the skin is peeling, use an oil-free moisturizer to smooth or soft of the skin. People with mild acne should take plenty of water.

There are some homemade remedies as well for treating mild acne
Take a full teaspoon of lemon juice and apply it on the area affected with mild acne and leave it for a few minute. After dry the affected area, wash off with clean water.

You should eat balance diet which is consists of fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid chocolate, spicy food, refined, sugar, and fried foods.

Aloe Vera is very effective to treat mild acne. Use the fresh juice of aloe Vera on the affected area and get the amazing results.

Use pulp of ripe tomatoes on the acne, and leave it for an hour. Wash off the affected area with Luke warm water.

Take some leaves of neem and make a paste with turmeric. Apply this paste on the affected area and leave it for 5-10 minutes. Then wash it with water.

Do not worry, if you do not see the results immediately. You have to be patient and consistent with the treatment. It would take several weeks or even months to see the improvements.
