Inexpensive Way to Get Rid of Brown Spots on the Face
Overview
Brown spots on the face are commonly known as sun spots or old age spots and are caused by damage to the skin from overexposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays. Sun spots normally occur in older people, but they can happen at any age, and they are normally permanent. Cosmetic procedures offer a quick, painless way to get rid of brown spots on the face, but they can be expensive. If you don't have a lot of cash, you can use ingredients you may already have at home, but you should expect it to take considerably longer for your spots to go away.
Step 1
Use lemon juice. Cut a 1/4 inch slice from a fresh lemon. Rub the juice of the lemon directly on the brown spots on your face. Do not rinse. Reapply the lemon juice twice a day for six to eight weeks.
Step 2
Incorporate vitamin E into your skin care routine. Purchase natural vitamin E oil in a high concentration. Apply the vitamin E oil to the brown spots on your face. Do not rinse off. Reapply the vitamin E oil twice a day until your sun spots diminish.
Step 3
Try raw papaya. Grate 1 tbsp of fresh raw papaya. Rub the papaya on the brown spots on your face. Do not rinse off. Repeat twice daily until your brown spots diminish.
