How to Suppress Acne-Causing Hormones

Eat a well-balanced diet. Your hormones are correlated to your vitamin and mineral intake, and balancing them can be done by following the food pyramid and taking in Vitamin E, which contributes to skin, hair and nail health.
Drink at least eight glasses of water daily. Water can keep hormones at a normal, constant level and flush out toxins that could cause hormonal fluctuations. Stay away from foods high in sugar, cholesterol and those with a high sodium content.
