Step 2

Eat a healthy diet to encourage the replacement of lost collagen in your skin. The World's Healthiest Foods suggests that sticking to a diet rich in lysine and proline may contribute to increased levels of collagen. Talk to your doctor about changing your diet to promote collagen growth, as the link between lysine and proline and collagen restoration has not been extensively studied.
