How to Naturally Get Rid of Deep Blackheads
Opening up pores, drawing out impurities, removing dead skin and dissolving excess oils are all required to remove, treat and prevent blackheads. Trying to squeeze blackheads out will only cause them to multiply and can lead to scarring. Avoid harsh chemicals and soaps that can cause your skin to over dry and always use a gentle touch when scrubbing. Washing several time a day can help prevent a buildup of excess oils and plugged pores.
Pour boiling water into the large bowl. Add the tea tree oil and cover your face and the bowl with a towel by creating a tent. Place your face no closer than 3 to 4 inches from the steam to prevent burning.
Steam your face in this homemade facial sauna for about 10 minutes to allow your pores to open up and the oils to begin to dissolve.
Remove the towel and use it to dry your face. Wait five minutes and allow your face to cool down.
Exfoliate and Apply Mask
Place oatmeal in your hands and gently scrub your face in a circular motion to remove dead skin. Avoid the eye area. Rinse your skin off and dry your face completely.
Place the clay in the small bowl and add enough water to make a thick paste. Use only one tsp. of water at a time to avoid making the mix too watery.
Apply the clay over your face, avoiding the eye area. Keep the mask on until dry, approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Rinse the mask off using warm water and a washcloth. Wash your skin with a mild soap and dry.
Apply lavender oil directly on your skin using your fingertips or a cotton ball. Use sparingly and avoid the eyes and nasal membranes.
