How to Have Clear Pores

How to Have Clear Pores

Overview

Acne pustules, papules and cysts are caused by oils and bacteria becoming trapped inside the pores of the skin. When these impurities are trapped, they can cause the skin to become inflamed, irritated and infected. One way to avoid acne breakouts is to clear the pores and maintain the skin so that the pores do not become clogged. To do this, flush the pores out with a skin-cleansing oil, and treat the surface of the skin to prevent the pores from clogging again.

Step 1

Spread 1 tbsp. of jojoba oil onto the skin, then use the fingertips to massage it in. Focus on the areas that are the most affected, and use a deep pressure and small, circular motions. After two to three minutes, place a washcloth on the face that is hot enough to steam, which will open up the pores to release the oils. Once the washcloth cools, dip it again into hot water, wring it out, then place it again on your face. After the cloth cools down a second time, use it to wipe off the jojoba oil and impurities. Repeat once per day. Skin absorbs jojoba oil, and it will not clog pores. Jojoba oil binds to the oils and impurities in the skin, flushing out the pores.

Step 2

Combine 1 tsp. of baking soda with 1 tbsp. of raw oats and 2 tbsp. of honey. Spread the mixture onto moistened skin, gently rub it around the face for two minutes, and rinse the skin well with water. Repeat twice per week. This exfoliating facial scrub will free the face of dead skin cells that could block and clog the pores. This gentle, natural scrub will not irritate or damage the skin.

Step 3

Fill an empty spray bottle with concentrated lemon juice, and spray the face thoroughly after washing. Allow the juice to dry onto the skin. Repeat up to three times a day. Vitamin C is helpful in building new skin cells, and sloughing away the old, dead skin cells. Using a natural source of vitamin C, such as concentrated lemon juice, will ensure that the skin will be clear without becoming inflamed or irritated.
