How to Get Rid of Your Embarrassing Pimples Fast
A pimple occurs when oil and dead skin cells block the opening of a hair follicle. These follicles produce natural oils that help keep skin moisturized and healthy. When the follicle becomes blocked, the oil builds up but has nowhere to go. The blockage leads to irritation, infection and eventually the pimple you see on the skin surface. Once pimples start, it can be difficult to stop them. Treating a pimple right away will help contain it and hopefully make the outbreak quick and less embarrassing.
Mix a couple drops of tea tree oil with one drop of olive oil.
Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat dry with a clean towel. Moisturize your face with a lotion.
Dip a cotton swab into the tea oil mix. Dab the tea oil on your face. Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and will dry the pimple out. Wait 15 minutes to allow the pimple swelling to go down.
Apply a makeup base to face. The base should match your natural skin tone.
Dab the pimple with a concealer and blend with your finger. The tea oil should reduce the inflammation and the concealer will cover the red.
Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat dry with a clean towel. Moisturize face normally with a lotion.
Saturate a cotton ball with calamine lotion.
Cover the pimple and surrounding area with the calamine lotion. Leave the lotion on while you sleep. Calamine lotion will dry the area out and help drain the pimple. Wash your face again in the morning.
