Switch to oil-free and noncomedogenic products. Skin cleansers, sunscreens and makeup may all contain oil, which clogs the pores of the skin, making acne worse. BabyCenter.com states that you can reduce the amount of acne on your skin simply by choosing to use only oil-free products and those labeled noncomedogenic, which means they will not clog your pores.
Get enough vitamin A in your diet. Foods with vitamin A, such as milk, eggs, fish and carrots, can help to keep your skin balanced and healthy. But be aware that taking a vitamin A supplement may not be safe during pregnancy. It is best to eat foods rich in vitamin A that do not contain enough vitamin A to harm your baby when eaten in moderation.
