How to Get Rid of Blackheads With Honey
Overview
Though you wash your face regularly, blackheads still litter your complexion in the form of tiny black dots. At the very least, blackheads aren't noticeable from a distance as one really has to look close for these tiny complexion compromisers. Blackheads are the result of clogged pores in the skin as dirt and bacteria mingle with the body's natural oil secretions. Putting aside commercial chemical laden products, an effective and natural approach takes only a jar of honey.
Step 1
Scoop out the honey with your fingers and place it in the palm of your hand.
Step 2
Rub your hands together to disperse the honey and warm it up if it is too thick to easily spread.
Step 3
Apply the honey by rubbing it gently over the skin making sure to spread it out evenly.
Step 4
Allow the honey to sit on your face for at least 15 minutes.
Step 5
Hold a soft clean cloth under warm running water to dampen it. Be sure to wring out the excess moisture with your hands thoroughly.
Step 6
Wipe away the honey from your skin with the cloth.
