How to Get Dark Spots Off Feet
Overview
Brown spots occur on the feet for a number of reasons, but the most common reason is damage caused by overexposure to the sun. Ultraviolet rays from the sun cause damage to the delicate skin on the tops of the feet, but unlike the temporary darkening we call "tan", these spots can be permanent. Cosmetic procedures can help fade brown spots, as can some all-natural home remedies like lemon juice, a natural skin lighter, and vitamin E oil, an antioxidant that helps fade scars and spots.
Vitamin E
Step 1
Buy vitamin E oil or vitamin E capsules. If you can only find capsules, you can break one open for each application.
Step 2
Place a few drops of vitamin E oil on the top of each foot and massage into the skin.
Step 3
Allow the vitamin E oil to absorb into the skin. Do not rinse off.
Step 4
Apply twice daily for two months or until the desired results are achieved.
Lemon Juice
Step 1
Slice a lemon into 1/4-inch thick slices.
Step 2
Rub one slice on the tops of the feet for 60 seconds each.
Step 3
Allow the juice of the lemon to absorb into the skin. Do not rinse off.
Step 4
Repeat twice daily for two months or until the desired results are achieved.
