How to Clear Skin Problems


Skin problems can happen to people of all ages, but most commonly to those experiencing periods of hormonal surging, such as puberty, pregnancy or menstruation. Skin problems occur when the pores become clogged with oils, sebum and impurities, which then become infected by bacteria. In order to eliminate skin problems, you must follow a routine that cleanses the skin, moisturizes it and deeply treats any breakouts that may occur.

Step 1

Wash the skin using a soap formulated for sensitive skin types. Wet the skin by splashing it with water, and rub the soap around your hands to create a rich lather. Apply the lather to your skin, but avoid rubbing the soap in. Rinse off the lather well with water. Wash your skin gently in this manner two times a day, once in the morning and again at night.

Step 2

Moisturize the skin using an oil-free moisturizer. Squeeze a dime-size amount of oil-free moisturizer onto your fingers, and gently apply the lotion to your face. Glide your fingers around your face until the moisturizing lotion has soaked in. Apply the oil-free lotion to your skin twice per day after cleansing.

Step 3

Treat skin eruptions using a tea tree oil mask. In a small bowl, combine 1 tbsp. of French green clay with 2 drops of tea tree oil. Mix the substances well with your fingers, and gently apply the mask to your skin. Smooth the mask over the entire area, and allow it to dry completely, which takes around five minutes. Rinse off the skin with warm water. Apply a tea tree oil mask once per week to treat skin problems.
