How To Clear Blackheads

Getting rid of blackheads can be a really difficult task, especially if you have oily skin which is a perfect breeding ground for acne bacteria. And as with all skin conditions getting rid of blackheads will not be something you can do overnight, but a more long process. If you see an advert that claims a certain product can clear your blackheads in 1 day then you can assume that it is all marketing hype and the company has not get your best interest in mind but only an interest to take all of you hard earned money. So instead of buying the next wonder product that claims to be able to give you perfectly clear skin overnight but really only makes things worse why not try these cheaper alternatives instead.

Step 1

Drape a towel over your face and add boiling water into a bowl. Lean your head over the bowl staying a comfortable distance away but close enough so the steam reaches your face. This will open the pores and loosen the blackheads for easy removal later.

Step 2

Exfoliate the skin very gently to avoid aggravating the skin. This will remove dead skin cells and loosen the blackheads even more.

Step 3

Apply a strip across the nose and leave on for the amount that is instructed on the back of the product, usually around 15 minutes. After the time has passed remove the strip. After the strip has been removed you should see many of your blackheads on the stick side of the strip.

Step 4

Mix some green clay with water until you make a paste. Apply evenly over the entire face leaving on for a minimum of 30 minutes. After that time wash off with warm water. This will help to absorb oil, impurities and dirt and also will help to remove blackheads leaving a clear and fresh looking complexion.

Step 5

To close the pores wash the face with cold water.By following these steps I am not going to make any false claims that you will be blackhead free in 3 days or none of that but if you use the above steps once a week you should see a big improvement in around 30 day or less, but the results are different for everyone and some could see results quicker and others will take longer to get good results.
