How Liver Prevents Acne

How Liver Prevents Acne How Liver Prevents Acne

The primary function of the liver is to detoxify the blood coming from entire body through abdominal veins and lymphatic system. After detoxification, the blood goes toward heart from where it is pumped to entire body.

Why your body produces toxins that cause acne?
Your body is a complex chemical machine that generates and converts one form of energy into another form and utilizes it to make your life possible and daily activities. You eat foods to live and during complex chemical reactions and digestion of food, certain toxic chemical substances are produced called byproducts. These are the toxins that if not excreted from your body cause acne and induce the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum.

Why you develop acne, despite of having liver?
All byproducts and any substance such as excess of hormones are delivered to the liver through your lymphatic system. Thus, liver is a disposing unit within your body. In case there are excess of toxins and hormones, liver stores them within itself and other areas such as joints, ligaments and soft tissues.

Androgens are the hormones that your liver can not neutralize properly and as a result it can get back into the blood and skin cells. Androgen accumulation in skin induces the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum. When excess of sebum is produced, it clogs hair follicles and mixes with propionibacteria.

Processed foods such as dairy products, highly refined cooking oils are responsible for acne accumulation. Thus, as a first acne remedy, do not eat highly refined dietary substance.

Over dose of vitamin A:
Vitamin A is a lipid soluble vitamin and can produce toxicity if overdose is taken. Although vitamin A is antioxidant and helps cure acne faster and removes toxins, do not take excessive dose of vitamin A as it may harm your liver and cause severe acne.

Overdose of Vitamin E:
Vitamin E is similar in that it can also produce toxicity if overdose is taken. Thus, be careful to consult your doctor or health care professional for how long you should take vitamin E.

Conclusion:
Liver is the primary detoxifying organ within human body. It prevents you from acne by excreting toxins and byproducts from your blood.
