Homemade Exfoliating Scrub
It's fun and easy to make your own "spa treatments." You can create an effective homemade exfoliating scrub with products you may already have on hand. Even if you have to buy an ingredient, it will be inexpensive and will be useful in the kitchen as well as in your homemade spa treatment.
Stir the salt or sugar and the baby or olive oil together in the small bowl until they are well mixed.
Add the oatmeal, if desired, for a thicker texture.
Add scented oils or extracts like vanilla or almond if you wish. Continue mixing until the new ingredients are thoroughly blended.
Store your homemade scrub in a tightly covered tin or plastic container until needed.
Moisten your skin in the shower.
Thoroughly massage the scrub into your skin with your hands, a body scrubber or a washcloth.
