Home Remedies to Reduce Acne Scars

Baking Soda

Apply the mixture to the scar, massaging the mixture into the skin for one minute, and then rinse. Follow the remedy with an aloe vera and vitamin E moisturizing remedy.
Leaves
Maragosa leaves and mint leaves are often used in the treatment of various skin ailments, according to Home Remedies, including acne scars. These leaves act as an anti-inflammatory and can reduce reduce and irritation associated with scars. Take a bunch of maragosa or a bunch of mint leaves, rinse them and crush them. Place the crushed parts in a cheese cloth and squeeze the juices from the leaves. Apply the juices directly to the scars two to three times a day and leave it on.
Water
Drink sufficient amounts of water every day to keep your skin hydrated. When hydrated, your skin is plump and better able to rebuild skin cells. Water also helps to wash the toxins away. According to the American Chronicle, you should drink at least 80 oz. of water per day to give your skin the amount of water it needs.
