It is an effective toner for dry skin, helping to close pores and keeping skin hydrated.

Place the following ingredients in a blender, mix and pour into a small container: 1 oz. of aloe vera gel, 1/5 cup of olive oil, 1 oz. of rosewater, four drops of essential rose oil and two drops of grapefruit seed extract. Massage into your face and rinse with warm water.

Acne-Prone Skin

Although you want to ensure your skin is clean and oil free, acne is a condition you also need to address from the inside. In your diet, recommends increasing fiber intake to keep your colon moving and to help remove toxins from your body; increasing consumption of foods such as almonds, beets and cashews, which contain oxalic acid; drinking kombucha tea, which has antibacterial properties; and eating garlic, a natural antimicrobial helpful for killing bacteria and improving immune system functioning. In addition, 15 minutes of sun exposure each day is good for your skin.
