There is a common belief that eating a lot of fried foods can cause you to develop acne. However, this isn't the case. Eating too many greasy fried foods is much more likely to cause you to develop other problems such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer than it is to cause you to develop acne.

There are numerous myths surrounding acne, including that eating fried foods causes it. However, this is no more true than the myth that chocolate causes acne. Though fried foods do not generally cause acne, if you have a food sensitivity or allergy to one of the ingredients in fried goodies, acne may be the result. If you suspect a particular food is causing your breakouts, remove it and then reintroduce it slowly to see if it has any affect.
