Effective Natural Acne Treatment
Acne is a skin condition that results in inflammation and the appearance of blackheads and pimples. It occurs when your skin pores are clogged with bacteria, dirt and oils. When bacteria is present, the skin can become infected and the pimples can redden and swell further. Natural acne remedies will help remove harmful microbes and lessen inflammation.
Acne And Prevention
Acne is spurred by the clogging of skin pores. When they become blocked, your glands produce excess oil which conglomerates into pimples. Make sure to shower daily. Do not wipe your face while eating and wash your hands before and after meals. You can use an over-the-counter agent, such as Benzoyl peroxide, to help dry excess oil.
Soap And Water
Wash your face with water and soap. Wash gently or you will further irritate the skin, which can lead to further inflammation of your pimples and blackheads. This is the simplest daily treatment for acne.
Create a paste of cinnamon powder and milk. Apply this paste to your face and leave it on overnight. Wash your face in the morning. According to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, cinnamon has strong anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. The cinnamon will help decrease the size of your pimples and lessen the chance for infection of the skin. Wear the cinnamon mask overnight every other day for a week.
Create a paste of milk and turmeric powder. Apply the paste and leave it on overnight. Wash your face in the morning. Do this on the days that you do not apply the cinnamon paste. According to Medifast Health, turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory properties because it contains large amounts of compounds known as curcuminoids.
Abide by this weekly regimen for two weeks and check the progress of the treatment. Continue for another week if you are not satisfied with the desired results. Stop treatment immediately and talk to your doctor if you notice any unexpected side effects. If you stop treatment, you may allow your acne a chance to return.
