According to Master Cleanse Secrets, if you perform the diet as directed, you may begin to see improvements in your skin in as little as six days. Before following this plan, you should speak with your doctor about any possible repercussions.

The Raw Foods Detox Diet

The Raw Foods Detox is a diet that was created by clinical nutritionist Natalia Rose. On this diet, you consume mostly uncooked and unprocessed plant foods that have been prepared at temperatures below 116 degrees. According to Rose, cooking lessens the nutritional value of foods and destroys enzymes beneficial to your health. And a study by Lenka Zajic, published in "Iowa Source" magazine, says raw food diet participants reported an improvement in the appearance of their skin. This diet focuses on fresh vegetables and fruit, seaweed, sprouts, beans, seeds and nuts. Cooked foods are gradually eliminated from your diet until your diet consists of a minimum of 75 percent raw foods. To dry out vegetables and fruits, a dehydrator set to under 116 degrees is used. Beans, grains and sprout seeds are placed in glass jars and soaked in water overnight. Vegetables and fruits can be blended into smoothies and juices. Fresh young coconut milk can also be added to your diet. To avoid potential contamination from chemicals and pesticides, choose organically grown produce whenever possible.

The Cranberry Juice Diet

The Cranberry Juice Diet is an extreme detoxification diet that has a very short duration -- as it should only take two to three days. While on this diet, you will consume between 32 and 64 oz. of organic cranberry juice with no sugar added and 48 oz. of water each day, according to Cranberryjuice.com. This diet will help remove toxins from your body while cleansing your urinary tract as well. As impurities begin to leave your body through the pores, your skin may initially get worse but will clear up quickly. Cranberryjuice.com also recommends going on this diet in summer or spring when it's warm.
