Sometimes people needs 1 more course of Accutane. It works by reducing the size of oil glands which leads to less oil production and decrease in growth of bacteria. But due to its severe side effects people are reluctant to take it. It is necessary that it is given under monitoring of any expert dermatologist. Its side effects include severe depression, fetus birth defects, suicidal thoughts and etc. to reduce its side effects it is necessary that patient should visit dermatologist regularly and if she notices any kind symptoms of depression should consult a dermatologist.

Another option of curing cysts is corticosteroids injection. It is painless therapy. Injection of cortisone injection is given to every cyst. It gives relieve to inflammation which is painful. For females, dermatologist prescribe oral contraceptives to treat cysts. These medicines help to control over reactive sebaceous glands. On the other hands some dermatologists prescribe synthetic steroids to control other hormones which causes overactive sebaceous glands.
