Sun

The sun can often prove to be the number one source of acne blistering. Sun damage can prove costly to a person's skin health and intense exposure can cause acne blistering. The best way to prevent sun caused acne blistering is to guard one's skin against the sun by using sunscreen. The key is to look for sunscreens with low oil content.

Cushing's Syndrome

According to the Mayo Clinic, Cushing's Syndrome affects both men and women and its origin comes from the body having disproportionate levels of the hormone cortisol in the bloodstream. Numerous medicines on the market contain cortisol, and ingesting these medications to treat another ailment may have an adverse effect by creating acne blistering on the face and body. Along with medications causing Cushing's Syndrome, cancerous growths, generally in the brain, can cause the body to produce too much cortisol. These growths are generally not life threatening; however, they are usually life altering as the acne blistering tends to be permanent.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome can cause acne blistering in women, and often comes with a variety of other ailments as well. According to the Mayo Clinic, the syndrome is hormonal, and is caused by a discrepancy during what should be ordinary ovulation. The real unfortunate part of the disease is there is no known cure besides hormone supplements or birth control pills.
