Toothpaste is a common home remedy for acne, mostly because it has a tendency to dry out oily skin, one of the most common causes of acne in teens and adults. However, the Food and Drug Administration has not approved these natural remedies, so talk with your doctor or dermatologist before starting any new treatment, especially if you take any medications or have allergies.
