Acne breakouts can cause embarrassment at any time for anyone. Approximately 85% population of the world encounters acne for some time in their lifetime.
And a majority of population waits until their facial acne has erupted before starting its treatment.

Treatment is mostly effective in treating acne; however it does not help in stopping this problem from developing again. The most appropriate approach to prevent bad skin condition, and reduce acne scarring is to make efforts to avoid acne earlier than it ever gets a chance to appear.

At present there is no 100% effective treatment of acne problem. Though, there are a variety of medicines and precautionary measures that can be used in order to avoid acne before it starts.

One can start to treat acne by maintaining an effective and reliable basic cleansing routine. Although poor hygiene is not one and only cause of acne development, but it is advisable to make use of a wet piece of cloth or a similar material that will facilitate exfoliate. The reason is excessive amount of skin cells can enhance bad skin condition. Two times every day is enough, and another important thing is to avoid oil based moisturizers usage.

Subsequent to cleaning, it is highly recommended to apply a 2% salicylic acid solution e.g. oxy pads or stridex. Salicylic acid is effective in getting rid of excessive skin cells that clog facial pores and result in acne development. Its daily usage is effective in diminishing the amount of acne breakouts.

Also, usage of an oil free sunscreen is very helpful in protecting skin before going outdoors. To protect skin from sunlight as much as possible is a must. Sunscreens are very essential, for the reason that sunlight can result in skin damage and its irritation. A damaged skin is more prone to acne breakout.

The most significant element of this treatment is to repeat these steps on daily basis, whether or not acne problem persists. Through exfoliation, salicylic acid usage, and protecting the skin from sun exposure through sunscreen, one can put an end to acne before this problem starts.
