1. Learn Basic Skin Care Routines

Since acne is caused by the blockage of pores, learning basic skin care can take care of major and minor acne problems. Covering acne with concealing cream can also cause more problems by blocking the pore and introducing foreign chemicals into an already infected area. Keep the infected area away from other things, such as phones. Change pillowcases frequently to help eliminate the spread of bacteria.

Have healthy skin from the inside out by eating a well-balanced diet with all the recommended daily allowances of vitamins and minerals. The healthier your skin, the less acne breakouts you will encounter. Drinking plenty of water also helps to flush the toxins out of the skin and body. Though a popular assumption, there's no scientific proof that chocolate causes acne, but certain people do have food triggers. If you notice your face breaks out after eating deep-fried foods, try to avoid those foods.
